The Girl Can't Help It

Area: Marylebone

“The owner, Sparkle, knows I'm mad for leopard print! When something special
comes in she'll always let me know. Having said that, the last time I visited, I picked up a 1940s ceramic mermaid and a 1950s floor-length fringed dress.”

Iris

Area: South London

“It’s always when I’m not looking for clothes that I find the best pieces and almost every time I visit Iris I leave with something. Isabel Marant and APC are my favourites here. I last bought a black silk shirtdress by Isabel Marant, which I haven’t seen anywhere else.”

Julie and Sarah's Market Stalls

Area: Islington

“I’m recommending a vintage stall as my favourite 'boutique' as it's where I buy outfits that draw the most attention. There are two stalls next to each other, under gazebos, run by Julie and Sarah. Both have a great eye for fashion, finding one-offs and pieces by named designers, all fairly priced (and, of course, exclusive). You'll find them Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-6pm.”

Nelly Duff

Area: East London

“I bought some great prints by Eine at Nelly Duff, they do amazing elevated framing. They have a great eye for spotting new up-and-coming talent, all in small runs so they are great investments for the future. Nelly Duff was one of the first to spot Banksy a few years ago.”

Curated as a gallery-cum-shop, the space transforms at regular intervals to showcase a breathtaking array of objects from fashion's premier tastemakers.”
